Scope and Contents
This grouping consists of audio visual materials produced by independent contractors working in collaboration with the Museum or created in-house by staff from 1978-2018. Ancillary films that were created by independent producers and selected to play for the duration of an exhibition are also included. The AV materials include professionally produced videos that accompanied exhibitions, professional interviews of staff and curators for local radio and television spots, and informal videos documenting exhibitions, curator walkthroughs, docent trainings, special events, lectures, educational programs, and symposia. AudioVisual materials are organized by legacy numbers and are housed separately according to media and include audio cassettes, videocassettes, film reels and born-digital files stored on CDs, DVDs, and the Museum’s server.
